Out of Hours

Outside surgery hours (nights 6.30pm-8.00am, weekends and bank holidays 24 hours), urgent medical care is provided by Somerset Primary Care Trust via the Somerset Out-of-Hours Service. The telephone number is 0845 408 8000 - this number is repeated on our answering machine message. You will speak to a trained nurse who will assess your problem. You may be given advice over the telephone or invited to attend the fully-equipped out-of-hours treatment centre or, dependent on the nature of your condition, a doctor, nurse or paramedic could visit you at home.
